Our process certification testing approach assures critical clinical and financial processes work. We analyze the software for intended use, prioritizing end user tasks at highest risk because of their frequency or the implications of their failure. For example, a transaction that accounts for 80 percent of all daily tasks has greater opportunity to fail, and thus, is at greater risk of doing so. Conversely, a transaction representing only five percent could be high-risk because the implications of its failure are significant, from harming patients to reducing revenue or increasing costs.

• Develop and document integration test conditions and expected results based   on HL7 transactions and the transfer of information between systems
